A project manager will generally face all ten of these knowledge areas in every project with the exception of procurement. The areas should not be controlled in any particular order rather the project manager switches to the appropriate knowledge and processes dependent on the situation.

IT Project Life Cycle

The project life cycle is affected by various distinct ways to manage an IT project.
